The Museo della Società di Esecutori di Pie Disposizioni is housed inside the former convent of Santa Maria degli Angeli detto del Santuccio (Our Lady of the Angels, called “of Santuccio”), which is now the administrative building of the charity Società di Esecutori di Pie Disposizioni. The museum has a fine collection of Sienese fourteenth- and fifteenth-century panels by the great local artists of the period. Among other notable works, it has several paintings attributed to Duccio di Buoninsegna and other Sienese artists such as Andrea Vanni, and fifteenth-century artists such as Sano di Pietro, Guidoccio Cozzarelli and Rutilio Manetti. The museum also includes the Bologna Buonsignori collection, which holds paintings created between the fifteenth and twentieth centuries, as well as many works of art in bronze, ivory and ceramic and a collection of archaeological finds.
