Five days entirely dedicated to the concept of Sound, Listening, and Nature, set in the extraordinary landscape of the Crete Senesi in Asciano.

This unique place in the world offers the public a new way to experience and feel part of the Nature of the Crete Senesi, to contemplate the sounds immersed in the light of the sunset falling over the skyline of Siena.

”ASCIANO SUONO FESTIVAL” is a cultural project conceived by the Artistic Director - the pianist and composer Cesare Picco - around the concept of Sound, in its infinite nuances. The festival explores and traverses the realms related to it through concerts spread across a unique territory, featuring sounds of musical instruments or voices, winds or strings, or percussion from afar.

“ASCIANO SUONO FESTIVAL” stems from the will of the Municipality of Asciano to support Culture and the Territory.

“Sound generates the virtuous principle of Listening,” declares Artistic Director Cesare Picco, “and grasping its message immersed in a unique natural setting like that of the Municipality of Asciano, encourages us to explore the wonders of the world within and around us.”

Internationally renowned artists bring sound, art, and enchantment to the welcoming Land of the Crete during the third edition of Asciano Suono Festival!

July 5, 2024: THE SOUND OF NATURE

Sunset Show: CAMILLE & MANOLO "LES ÉCHAPÉES" Theatre du Centaure - 7:45 PM at: Location to be defined

The most famous centaurs in the world come from Marseille to give us an extraordinary sunset show. Together with their horses, they create extraordinary moments of poetry and fusion with Nature.

July 5, 2024:

Concert under the Stars: MANU DELAGO & MAD ABOUT LEMON - 9:30 PM at: Piazza del Grano, Asciano

Free admission.

With pieces from the album "Snow From Yesterday," the Austrian percussionist is joined in Piazza del Grano by three singers and a double bass.

July 6, 2024: THE SOUND OF WONDER

Dawn Concert: ARTHUAN REBIS Harp, Celtic Harp, Voice, Percussion - 5:30 AM at: Location to be defined

Celebrate the arrival of the new day with the magical sounds of this multi-instrumentalist, a leading figure in Celtic and modern folk music.

Itinerant Performance in Asciano: CAMILLE & MANOLO - 12:00 PM at: Historic center of Asciano

A performance not to be missed in the full style of 'Theatre du Centaure' with the historic center of Asciano as the backdrop.

Creative workshop in artistic residency: FEDERICA & ALEX Young Artists in Words and Music - 11:00 PM at: Piazza Garibaldi, Asciano

Free admission.

Young talents will lead the audience in a dialogue between music, art, and words. With various surprises and guests joining them.
